Summer graduated from the Sheridan College Veterinary Technician program in 2020 and is currently studying biochemistry at Wilfrid Laurier University. She has experience in emergency and critical care and large animal medicine. She has earned her Companion Animal Diabetes Educator Certificate, Recover CPR and Advance Life Support Certificate, and practices fear free techniques.
Summer has a passion for all things laboratory-related, whether it's analyzing blood samples or identifying cells from lumps, bumps, and sores.
She is a lover of all animals but has a special place in her heart for her rescue cats, Mochi and Yumi. She is dedicated to teaching clients about training and enriching their pets to encourage trust and bonding between them.
