Grooming

Grooming is a lot more than just making sure your pet is looking their best. Our veterinary team will ensure your pet leaves their appointment feeling pam-purred by our dynamic team who have over 25 years of combined experience. Our new, state-of-the-art grooming salon is conveniently located in our hospital to accommodate more pets and all their needs.

What types of services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of services, specific to your pet’s needs. For example, if they’re experiencing skin issues, we can provide a medicated bath to soothe them, based on our veterinary team’s advice. You can contact us at 519.624.9760, to make an appointment for any of our services, including:

  • Simple grooming
  • Breed-specific grooming
  • Show clips and scissor cuts
  • Shave downs, based on the advice of our professional pet stylists
  • Brush out or Lion cut for cats

What should I do to prepare for your pet’s appointment?

If your pet was not vaccinated at our hospital, please bring a copy of their vaccination certificate to their first appointment. Since your pet might be in close contact with other furry friends, we want to prioritize everyone’s safety. We highly recommend your pet be vaccinated against Bordetella which causes Kennel Cough, an infectious type of bronchitis, at least 5 days before their appointment.

What can I expect during their visit to the grooming salon?

At our salon, we only use high quality products that are pet-friendly and safe. No harmful chemicals will be used to grooming your pet. Our team of experts will shampoo, condition, trim and style your pet so they leave our salon looking purr-fect and paw-tastic! Aside from aesthetics, grooming is an important part of helping your pet maintain their health. For example, overgrown nails or matted fur can cause your pet discomfort and affect their daily routine. By entrusting us with your pet’s grooming needs, we guarantee you’ll receive the gold standard in care.
